Advanced Clinical Supervisor
Hi, I’m Lyndsey Ryan.
Lyndsey Ryan, MA, LPC, LAC, ACS is a Colorado-based trauma therapist, psychedelic-assisted therapy specialist, and Advanced Clinical Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience working in trauma, addiction, chronic illness, and complex mental health care.
She specializes in developmental trauma, adult-onset PTSD, treatment-resistant conditions, nervous system dysregulation, chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, addiction, combat trauma, traumatic brain injury, and psychedelic integration. Her work bridges evidence-based trauma therapy with contemplative, somatic, and psychedelic-informed approaches to healing.
Lyndsey integrates Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, attachment-focused therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and contemplative psychotherapy to support deep and lasting transformation. Her approach is grounded in both neuroscience and the sacred dimensions of healing, honoring the profound relationship between mind, body, spirit, and nervous system repair.
Over the course of her career, Lyndsey has worked extensively with Veterans, Special Operations personnel, First Responders, and individuals living with developmental trauma and chronic health conditions. Her clinical work increasingly led her to explore the intersection of trauma, neuroinflammation, chronic illness, and post-traumatic growth, alongside emerging psychedelic-assisted therapies and integrative approaches to healing.
She holds a Master of Arts in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University and has pursued advanced training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, somatic therapies, functional medicine for mental health, attachment repair, and trauma-focused interventions. Her work has also been informed by Jungian psychology, Tibetan Buddhism, mindfulness practices, and culturally informed psychedelic healing traditions.
Lyndsey is the founder of Embodied Illumination, a practice devoted to helping individuals reconnect with safety, meaning, embodiment, vitality, and authentic selfhood after trauma.
At the heart of her work is the belief that healing is not simply symptom reduction, but a profound return to connection: connection to self, to others, to purpose, and to the deeper intelligence that lives within the human spirit.
